Jesus Died for Our Sins and to give Us the gift of Salvation

Jesus Christ resurrecting with open arms in front of a cross.

Whosoever Will

And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come: and let him that is athirst, come: and let whosoever will, take of the water of life freely.

Revelation 22:17

1. The Bible is very clear that we are all sinners in need of Jesus as our Savior.

23   for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

24 and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

25 God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished

Romans 3:23-25

2. Our sin has the penalty of death.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 6:23

3. The Bible is very clear Jesus Christ paid the penalty for our sin.

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

4. The Bible states with our heart we believe unto the righteousness of Jesus and with our mouth we confess our sins for salvation. We are not to be ashamed of Jesus. We only need to call upon the Name of the Jesus to be saved.

9 If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation.

11 For the Scripture says, Everyone who believes on him will not be put to shame,

12 since there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, because the same Lord of all richly blesses all who call on him.

13 For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

Romans 10:9-13

Pray a prayer in your own words for God to forgive you of your sins and that you need Him as your Savior. Ask God to help you to learn how He can be Lord of your life from this day forward and to keep you from sin.

Pray to Jesus and ask all things in Jesus Name.

5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself as a ransom for all, a testimony at the proper time.

1 Timothy 2:5-6

5. How can you be sure you be sure that God will save you if you ask.

5 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father also loves the one born of him.

13 I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.

1 John 5:1, 13

To know God and serve Him you must ask God to speak to you as you read the Bible everyday.
